Weekly Breastfeeding Support Group
Giving birth & breastfeeding are a woman's powerful rite of passage. Join Renee Mandala, Certified Lactation Counselor and Doula and other new parents for support as you transition into Motherhood.
What's normal for a breastfeeding baby, mom, and family? Bring your baby and your questions to get support through the early days of nursing, or whenever questions arise. Infant scale available for weight checks.
Can't latch? Still learning? Feeding formula and wanting to nurse? Preparing to go back to work? Everyone is welcome! If things are going well, come to share and inspire other moms!
When: Mondays 10:30 - 11:45 a.m.
Where: Mothers Guild office, 4243 Telegraph, Ventura 93003 (Near Santino's Pizza and Ventura College)
Fee: This drop-in class is supported by your $5- 10 donation, however no one turned away, all are welcome.

Sign up for the Spring Session: 8 weeks April 13 - June 1
Weekly group for parents and young babies to receive support and practical information as you adjust to parenting. Guest presenters in subjects such as infant development, infant massage, soothing and attachment, fathers, and more. Explore newborn traits and behaviors, the care and feeding of babies, breast or bottle feeding, infant and parent sleep and well-being, older siblings, the emotional life of a new family and whatever is on your mind and heart today.
Where: Nan Tolbert Nurturing Center, 555 Mahoney Avenue, Rm. 2, Oak View, 93022 (15 minutes north of Ventura)
When: 8 Tuesdays, April 13 - June 1, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Call to register(805)667-2115
Fee: $64 per 8-week session. Sliding scale/ scholarships available. Rolling admission can be pro-rated so you may join the group at any time in our session.
